Italian wedding- bride with mother

Despite the rain  this did little to dampen the celebratory spirit of the day. For this was a fairy tale wedding of our niece, Maddy, to her Italian boyfriend, Ed. They first met in school where their shared love of singing brought them together.
Then they went to different universities and several years past before they met again and rekindled their relationship. 

Today they married in this beautiful mountain resort where Ed's father has a chalet. Over 100 guests attended mainly from school and university as well as family members.

 Maddy, our niece, is pictured with  her mother, Fiona  M's sister, inside the church,  chiesa di San Pantaleone in Chamois.
