Sun and swimming swans

Sunny but still windy. It's been windy for days.. and still cold. 
Abbey House walk then teatime walk by Cavendish Dock. 
So far, no extra work destroying the local habitat.  So a quick walk beyond the 'pill box' which they have left as I think it may be a listed building as it's a relic from the war. 
Beyond is tall grass and wild roses and brambles  and I'm hoping that it will remain untouched. 
Photo is of a couple of fishermen . I stood watching them for a while as one was casting out very close to the Swan family. 
I dont know the name of the heavy object on the end of the line, it looks like a mini torpedo. I think they may have bait in it. 
My main reason for watching was I didnt want them to injure the birds. 
Thankfully they didnt.
