PLUMERIA

I am always amazed at how many flowers
seemed to thrive in our brutally hot summers. This PLUMERIA, we saw on our walk, seems to be thriving as it gets hotter & hotter. (100F/37.7C) tomorrow.

We are walking earlier & earlier in the morning & just before dusk in the evening.
Angus is getting a haircut tomorrow, so he will be cooler, at last. I am enjoying
cool showers!

I just started reading a new book:
BIRDOLOGY
By: Sy Montgomery
Each chapter is about her experience & research with a particular BIRD. The first
chapter was about her experience raising chickens. I am now reading about her
time in Australia researching the
Cassowary. So interesting!
