JASMINE

Today was the hottest day of Summer, so far; (104F/ 40C)
but this JASMINE does not seem to mind.  In fact, most of
California is under an EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING, until 
Sunday night.   Angus & I have been walking early & late to
beat the heat.  

We had a wildfire  a few days ago, that was too close for 
comfort.  There was an EVACUATION  WARNING for my
whole neighborhood, so I packed up & went to a friend's
house, in a nearby town.  The water dropping aircraft 
were fast at work, along with the brave guys on the ground.
They contained it to 133 acres, which is a miracle.

Before this fire, I downloaded a FREE APP called
WATCH DUTY, that notified me as soon as the fire started,
& continued until the Evacuation Warning was lifted.  
Knowing what was happening gave me time to 
prepare & gave me peace of mind.  I recommended
it to all my friends & neighbors.

I am safe, with a plan, if it happens again.
