A packet of seeds

A packet of wildflower seeds produced this in a customer's garden. She does most of the maintenance herself and calls me when there are things to be moved.

Tonight I had a meeting with the owner of one of the big properties where we spread 3 tandem loads of mulch in June. He is back from his trip to Greece now. We will now be spending a half day every 2 weeks there weeding and pruning.

We started working on another new property today, she wanted the beds edged and mulched. We edged them today and plan to go back on Thursday to spread the mulch. I hope that the remnants of Hurricane Beryl don't hit this area. For now it is forecast to go north of here, thru New Brunswick and possibly northern Nova Scotia. The owner of this property wants us to come back for monthly maintenance.

If someone had told me 20 years ago when I started the business that I would still be doing it and would have more work than I can handle, I would never have believed them.

It was still hot today, but this morning was cloudy, so it kept the humidity away. Even though the sun came out this afternoon, the humidity was not as bad as predicted. The forecast is for another hot day tomorrow, but the clouds have rolled in again tonight.
