A long drive to the
coast in hot weather - so a
dinner with my bro!

I think this will qualify as an emergency blip. My first shot of the day was the view of my mountains from my deck before 6. Then  scrambled to get loose ends tied before my daughter and I left for the coast.

 Enroute we stopped by the Ashcroft Manor to get this shot of the Garbage Goblin, once a common trash receptable around the province in the 50s and 60s. I'm told there are only two left and this is one. 

We stopped in Hope for a late lunch, then arrived at our motel in Langley at 4 PM. 

We have plans to meet my brother at a seafood restaurant for dinner at 6. 

It's been a long, hot day. Happy to be landed and I should enjoy my bed tonight (and the A/C)
