Meal with a view

MrM had a morning appointment with the dentist for the first part of a root canal treatment. His tooth is less painful now, but it was arm and leg territory money-wise, with two more appointments to go!

Walked into Holmfirth after lunch to meet with L and G, to discuss becoming a 'supporter' of the arts festival, i.e. volunteering. Could be fun! With another new supporter we sat outside and enjoyed tea or coffee while we talked - it was just about warm enough!

Later we discovered that Monday isn't a good day to have fish & chips for tea, as very few of the local chip shops are open. After trying a few others, we ended up buying our tea from Compo's. MrM drove us up into the countryside and we ate our fish and chips with this view across the fields.
