Reykjavik - day 2

I absolutely love the buildings and murals in Reykjavik, there is so much colour, which is very welcome given the cold and grey skies, even in July. Having said that, last night at 11pm it was beautifully sunny outside. Many of the buildings are clad in corrugated iron as it is a good material for the Icelandic weather. It also looks easy to paint and keep in good condition, we have seen several buildings undergoing a bit of a spruce up.
Today we have visited: Perlan (wonders of Iceland and northern lights) which is apparently the #1 attraction but we both think was not worth the bother, The National Gallery of Iceland (modern art installations) which I loved and my husband didn’t, then the National Museum Of Iceland, which we both enjoyed.
