Rose in the rain

Summer arrived yesterday...... and then it left.
This morning it was very windy, but nice enough, but at lunchtime the rain moved in from the south, and my goodness, it has been a raw and rainy afternoon.

I decided it was a good time to shop (indoors) for gifts for forthcoming birthdays.  Job done!!!!

When home, I walked around the garden and found this very wet but still beautiful rose!
