Brian's Bits

By Kanyl

I thought of Len.

AKA "Big daft Unc."  The story goes that he once asked Mam what a particular Plant was called.  (NOT this one, but it did the reminding)               Apparently -  "It's a Bloody Cranesbill Len"
Elicited the response "D'you know, I've called it that for years."
When I did a search  for a "Wild" blue Cranesbill, I got a whole slew of named garden varieties
"Geranium pratense - meadow cranesbill"
Given both a memory and still here I might attempt to introduce it to "The Back Grass".
If you're still here I'm putting it up to standardise print size after a copy/pste.

This plant will provide nectar and pollen for bees and the many other types of pollinating insects.
It is included in an evolving list of plants carefully researched and chosen by RHS experts. Divided into 3 groups these lists, linked below, are maintained by a team of RHS staff and are reviewed annually.
