Collected AJ and got to JH’s house by about 9.15. Our destination was the Richard III visitor centre in Leicester. Wasn’t sure what to expect but it was very well done . Lots of different ways if presenting the quite complex situation around The Wars of the Roses, and a lot of space devoted to details of the actual dig and also how they used various tests to determine that the skeleton they had found was RIII. We were very impressed. Blip is his grave with a hologram depicting how the skeleton was placed. The grave wasn't really big enough so the view is that it was constructed in haste. Had some very nice salads from an Italian restaurant to share for lunch and got back home about 4 ish.
