Zebra Seed Pods

I found these rather striking black and white seed pods on a plant at the side of the footpath..they stood out against the green grass.

I think they are from a vetch plant and the seeds have already popped out! Vetch is a member of the pea family..and this one had put out tendrils which were wrapped around nearby grass stalks.
