Partial….

The highlight of my day is my twelve week catheter change. After the nightmare scenario of the last one, I’m surprisingly calm - I suppose it’s the sense of inevitability. 

Thankfully, it’s not as bad as last time. Predictably, my assigned nurse tries and fails, but the registrar she summons is eventually successful and so things are all over and done with fairly quickly. 

G offers me the chance to take some photographs on the return journey - yes, I’ve taken my camera with me just in case - but all I really want to do is go home and read in the sunshine. 

And so my photographic energies go into taking shots of one of my favourite subjects - the vase of lilies in the hall. A partial view for this week’s mono challenge.
