Wellyboots

Bear discovered the bucket of muddy wellyboots under the table yesterday, that have been there since the last time they made a swamp out of the digging patch. They got dumped outside overnight (so I could use the bucket!) and today Bear found the boots again. First he ran off with one of his red ones and started picking off the mud, then he came back and tried Bean's boots on for size. And the pair of them wandered off like this for a while before somehow both boots ended up on Bean's feet ;)

This morning, Steve was not well. Very much not well, so in a moment of insanity I decided it would be better if I took both boys out with me to Creation Station. The jury is still out as to whether taking them both with me long term is a sustainable thing. By the end of the baby session I was ready to curl up in a corner and rock gently having chased Bear around. Part of me is quite glad that I was really late and didn't have time to organise my boxes and bags as I usually do, as that would have meant lots MORE bags on the floor for Bear to rummage through every time my back was turned. Eventually he managed to achieve his morning's aim though and climbed into the washing up bowl with his shoes on (why I'd not taken them off is beyond me!). Apart from that, he had a whale of a time. He didn't join in with any of the activities, preferring instead to run around laughing with general happiness, and jumping on one big sister who was laying on her tummy at the time - everyone found it hilarious! Bean joined in quite happily in both classes, he has loved playing with the gloop! I'm pretty happy for him to come along, just need to work on Bear a bit ;)
