Two ships

The Alex von Humboldt 2 (Bremerhaven) on the right, Britannia on the left in the distance. 

A fine day, warm enough for short sleeves and partly sunny. Tram to Ocean Terminal, then walked along to the cruise terminal dock; the training sail ship was a long way along the wharf, so we walked all around the granary and Asda to find a viewpoint at the back of the Asda carpark. 


Pier House (which has replaced the Loch Fyne restaurant) has just opened; we sat outside in the sun and had their pilsner and tea. They aren't quite organised yet, but were serving food. The menu had mussels. 

Back by no 11 bus. Contractors just finishing work for the day in the car park behind our building.
