Sleeping Like a Baby

Because he is!! This adorable foal had just had a drink from his Mum and was so tired out by the effort that he just lay down and instantly fell asleep:-) He was one of the many horses and ponies we saw today on a visit to the New Forest in Hampshire. There were also some equally adorable donkeys and Highland cattle, but this little one made my blip today!

We drove down to the coast with Mum in law and stopped at a delightful little place called Barton on Sea, where we were entertained for hours by the skills of some paragliders who swooped around on the thermals over the cliffs (See here.). A beautiful sunny day, with a gentle breeze to keep it pleasant and spectacular views over the sparkling sea to the Isle of Wight and The Needles. I was totally spoiled for blips:-) One of these days where it's a feast rather than a famine, but horses are my special love, so the foal won out.

Moving on tomorrow to visit daughter and son in law in Essex, so should have a better chance to catch up with you all! Have a great weekend:-)
