Day out

It was hot today! Unfortunately the bees seem to be thinking about making a getaway but fingers crossed.
We decided to go out and enjoy the sunshine, so had a trip to Ulverston to buy chicken feed. Bonnie loves WCF as all the dog treats are in boxes at nose level so she can choose! Also the assistants always fuss her and give her biscuits. We went on to see the piece of land that our friend Steve bought when he retired. It’s a large area of rough grazing and wet bogs, adjacent to an NNR in the Duddon Estuary. It was looking lovely today. Then we headed to Roudsea for Rob to put out his moth lamps, and saw the ospreys on their nest.
Finally headed home to give Bonnie her tea, and check there were no swarms hanging around!
