Tangle of sweet peas

The only real bright spot in what has been the most dreary of July days. The sun was shining when we got up, within the hour it was uniformly dull, quite humid and with spots of rain now and then. It’s raining heavily outside now.

I spent the latter part of the morning at the allotment, strimming, sowing and weeding.

We saw the sweet peas while out on our walk this afternoon. It must be a good year for them. This tangle was taller than me. Nice scent too.
