Forres in Bloom

One of the superb displays of carpet bedding in Grant Park, Forres. The extra shows an unidentified rodent, possibly a beaver. I particularly like the planting suggesting his watery habitat. The park was gifted to the town in 1924 by Sir Patrick Grant - hence the butterfly marking its centenary.
Forres has been winner in both Scotland in Bloom and Britain in Bloom competitions.
