Best of pals...

Our Skye friends headed home this morning after bacon rolls, lots of cuddles from the girls and a final play for best pals, Lola and Lily.

They are hilarious together.  It's like watching wrestling from the 1980s - Big Daddy and in Lily's case, Tiny Haystacks!  :-))) They play fight so beautifully.  Lola throws herself dramatically on the floor and Lily pretends to go for her throat and pins her down with her leg, then they reverse and Lily lies down and Lola pins her to the floor.  They love it!  :-)

Poor Anna was in tears before their car was even out of the driveway!  Faith was shouting BYEEEEEE out of the open window and we could hear her as the car drove off up the street.  No idea why her Gran nicknamed her Foghorn Faith :D 

The house was very quiet after they'd gone.

Flurry of activity.  Washings on, hoovering, dishwasher emptied and reloaded etc etc then D headed to the driving range for an hour and I put my feet up with coffee and crochet.  

Almost finished my hexi cardi and I've enjoyed crocheting this one.  Found a new tutorial and it's MUCH easier than the previous one, so I suspect this won't be my last cardigan.  

After a week of cooking for six, it was funny to be cooking dinner for just the two of us.  

Attempted to watch some TV but we were both exhausted after a very busy week so succumbed to an early night.  Bliss :-)
