Sydney Park wetlands

I am partial to our local Sydney Park. I particularly love its wetlands. They provide a habitat for birds and vegetation and are a welcome relief in dry hot weather. Not that we're having that now. It's the dead of winter but even on such a grey day, the grass sways in the wind and the water ripples light and dark.
