this too shall pass

Even though it is Sunday, I was up very early in order to be at the hospital around 7.30 as requested by the eye doctor yesterday - to go before the rush!  She still has a mild concern, so I have to go back midweek.  Thank you to my friend 'Lord' as he is known at summer school (we all have nicknames - mine is Queenie !), who got up early to take me, escort me through my appointment again as yesterday, and bring me back home. The comfort of having a friend with me for support both physically and psychologically - is greatly appreciated

Twenty four hours after my fall and my right eye is an absolute  corker of purple plum, with minor vision issues, and I ache all over after landing so heavily, so, once back from the hospital around 8.20,  I spent the entire day lying on the bed watching Netflix and doing a little embroidery on and off.  Mostly off.
