Wound up in Wexford

We've had a hectic day.  Our first visitors arrived about 1130, and there's been at least one, often two, and sometimes three families here all day.  At about 5.50 we closed the gate on what we thought would be the last to leave, only for another family to ring the bell almost immediately.  I think we've had 15 different families, but it could have been more.

We were pleased to find our immediate neighbours (the ones with the annoying yapping dog) came round, and although we still found the husband a little abrasive, we did manage a good interaction.

We're really pleased to have met so many of our near neighbours, but will need to accept and act on their reciprocal invitations (pretty much everyone said "just pop in") to consolidate, as they have rather blurred into each other.

By the time the last family departed, we neither of us felt inclined to cook.  So dinner was the last of W's home made lentil "hummus" with crudités, including mange tout peas from our own garden.

We have garden peas and broad beans also progressing well.
