Happy 60th Birthday to Tom

Most of our guests arrived by 1 o’clock. Considering Tom didn’t really want a fuss, his 2 brothers and 1 sister came to visit. Tim from the South Pacific, Judith from Oxfordshire and Jonth from Carlisle. My niece and her partner who were visiting from London also came.
They were very generous with their gifts from Talisker single malt whisky to cash towards his new iPad.
There was too much food as always but it was enjoyable. The Sangria was flowing and my cheesecake collapsed as I cut into it, (laughs). We were all too full for Birthday cake.
Tom polished off the fruit from the Sangria and we are now sitting watching TV.
