Splatted

This was the state of our windscreen as we returned to the car after church. I'm fascinated by the content and the separation of the elements therein. It's a good 7.5cm across and very difficult to remove though (viewed from the inside) it looks quite artistic.

But what caused it? A deposit from one of the local pigeons? Or a gull? Did someone chuck an egg or other foodstuff at the car?

Whatever, the screen wash and wipers removed the streak and Mr Flum cleaned the 'head' as soon as we arrived home.
