A busy day. First to Kendal for a supermarket shop and my free pack of doughnuts. Then home, unpacked and last minute dusting. Mid morning Jane arrived with the little ones and made their bearings for the afternoon’s Rushbearing ceremony.

They assembled by the church and I moved on to the Bridge House for a few snaps as they passed.

The procession then headed up past the Golden Rule and I walked through the college grounds and home for a rest. After the procession there’s a service in church then sports for the children.

It was a late tea and bedtime.
