Buff-tailed bumblebee

..on comfrey.  At least I assume it's buff-tailed rather than white-tailed, but you'll have to tell me if I've got that wrong!

Today has been an odd mixture of grey clouds, lashing rain, brilliant sunshine and thunderstorms.  The Hat Fair moves to the park for Sunday - usually its most expensive and least successful incarnation - so when I went out briefly, I turned in the other direction and had a very short walk through the marshes, before returning home and falling asleep over a book.  I feel the better for it too.
