BAMSEKRAM

Had to go out to The Metrocentre this afternoon to get Norwegian and Swedish currency for Neil. And he wanted a pair of flips flops too. Got a pair in Primark for £2. Mooched around a bit - lots of shops had sales on. I got a T shirt for myself and also a travel bag for Neil. Bit doubtful whether he will like or use the bag - we will see.

When Neil was in New Zealand last year he was on a coach tour and the passengers were divided into groups and each group had to choose a name. Neil's group included Swedish twin girls and they chose the name Bamsekram for the group. The word means HUG. The group each bought a hoodie and had the group name printed on. My blip shows Neil's hoodie which I have ( hand ) washed and ironed ready for him to wear tomorrow.

He is off to Sweden where the twin's family have a summer house on the West coast -all the New Zealand Bamsekram crew have been invited. Some can't make it but quite a few are going. Sounds like it will be a fun weekend.
