SPUGGY

This is a sparrow - or as we call them in the North East of England a spuggy. Not a very clear shot as I was sheltering from the rain in the shadows under the holly tree waiting to see what would appear on the bird feeder.

It has rained the whole day ... the WHOLE day. Will this rain ever end.

Stayed home today - sent poor Neil out in the rain to post a letter. Had to put the central heating on this evening for a bit as it was so chilly. The cats enjoyed some lovely radiator warmth. Summertime and the livin is easy!.
