Who are you looking at?

Failing to find the kestrels, I had to fall back on one of the pigeons nesting in the niches on the outside of our house. There are niches on the inside too (actually earthenware pots embedded in the wall), happily no longer in use.

Not much blip mojo at the moment. I caught the cold that S brought back from the UK two weeks ago -- it took a long time to incubate and is now taking a long time to go away. Also the weather today has been dismal. It's rained most of the time along with occasional rumbles of thunder. I was feeling too ropy to go swimming anyway.

I did get up at 4 am on Friday to watch some UK election results, caught Rees-Mogg but missed a zombie-like Liz Truss. On that note, isn't it nice to see grown-ups in charge today? I think it will be a while before we see that in France. Off to vote in the morning.
