Bursting buds

As I mentioned yesterday the Agapanthus are preparing to flower. Love to see these bursting buds full of promise, very like the Alliums a couple of months ago.

On the left is Twister, the blue and white Agapanthus I got for my birthday a few years ago and we still have in a pot. On the left is a white flowered one we planted out and has exceeded 20 blooms for the last few years. Haven’t counted the buds yet but there looks to be a lot.

Hopefully we will be greeted by lots of blooms when we return from the SW.

Done a bit of gardening, a bit of ironing and am now watching the climax of today’s Tour de France stage.
Gearing myself up to going to do some packing!

A much better day so far than the forecast, let’s hope it’s the same tomorrow as thunder and lightening are predicted.
Supposed to be another outdoor singing gig in Roberts Park tomorrow but I’m not sure if we’re going as it’s a rush after church. ( extra -  singing last night at the Beer and Gin Festival - I’m to the right and rear of the chap in the flat cap)
