Long Hike, Long Haul

On today's hike we kept going and going - we walked over six miles. The plants, the sky, the temperature, everything was pleasing. We finally ended under the St. Johns Bridge where a new dock was opened and dedicated recently.
We kept our sanity by not thinking of our national troubles, though this old and strong support holding up that soaring bridge did remind me that strength and support is, in fact, what we need to keep giving.
