What Murray effect?

The Scottish government might have been influenced by Andy Murray's historic win, with the announcement this week of a £6 million investment in Scottish tennis, but it doesn't seem to have had much of an impact at ground level. It's a beautiful evening again and there was a grand total of zero folk playing at this club.

Sticking with the sporting theme, the first bid has been submitted to buy the Jambos. That's a bit of a relief since the deadline is tomorrow. Can't really see there being a last minute rush!
