More yellow
This is yellow corydalis. If you don’t know it, it grows freely in walls. For some reason it won’t grow in mine, although I would like it too!
I tried to stay awake last night, but was sleepy. I went to bed and set the alarm for 0200, hoping to hear the Hexham result. It was not declared when I woke at 0130 so I did not know the good news until 0530.
We have had a Tory MP for over a hundred years, but no longer. Our last MP was a good constituency MP when we first came. Then he was put in the Whips office and changed for the worse.
I stayed in bed to listen to the radio and slowly emerged.
Margret came late morning and encouraged me to go to choir. I should have been away now on my photo holiday, until Covid hit the tutors.
I didn’t feel like it, but went to choir and had a great time. We are singing in a concert in St Peter’s church, Humshaugh, tomorrow afternoon. (The concert will finish before 4pm, when I understand some people will want to be near a screen…..!
Home to see more tennis and do more knitting. Well done Emma R.
