Norwich

We arrived in Norwich in the morning, and in the afternoon went to the Saint Peter Mancroft ringing centre. There was plenty of computer aided technology for teaching ringing which we practised on before ringing the 12 bells of the main tower. I had not realised how historic the church is in terms of ringing. The very first peal ring in the world is recorded on a peal board in the tower. It was rung in 1715.
