Shaun No 2 of 109. Don’t be Koi Shaun

This was the only blue sky we saw today. He’s having some trouble focusing on that butterfly. Good job Shaun’s woolly coat was waterproof. He needed it. Rain or heavy drizzle all day and quite humid too.

The poor weather curtailed plans to visit the allotment this afternoon. I have a few things that need doing, they will have to wait until next Monday now.

We didn’t stay up too late last night. I was up early to watch the last seats being declared by which time it was all over. I think it was all over by 11.00pm last night.

Interesting that the turnout seemed quite low, the Labour Party’s % share of vote was lower than 2019 yet posted the massive landslide.

Perhaps there will be a serious consideration given to the electoral system given the first past the post approach doesn’t seem fit for purpose any longer.

There is a massive job for the new government. I hope they repay the electorate’s confidence by governing with integrity, honesty and openness. Now that would be a change.
