Abstract: Mourning Dove family

A pair of mourning doves nested on the roll down screen on my patio, which I haven't been able to use for weeks. I spotted the fledglings earlier today for the first time. They are never left alone. The birds are in a shaded area which wasn't conducive for decent photography so I turned it into an abstract for Abstract Thursday.

I might go and sit in the Safeway parking lot to watch the fireworks in Sahuarita. I've never shot any before and didn't want to count on them for my blip. If I manage to get any, I'll add them later.

248 years ago, American patriots fought for the fledgling country against the tyranny of a King. Our Supreme Court ...ahh...never mind.

A man brings his Chihuahua to the vet.
They’re immediately taken to a room.
Soon, a Labrador walks in sniffs the Chihuahua, and leaves.
Then a cat comes in, stares at the dog, and leaves.
Finally, the doctor comes in, prescribes some medicine, and hands the man a $250 bill.
"This must be a mistake," the man says.
"I’ve only been here 20 minutes!"
"No mistake," the doctor says.
"It’s $100 for the Lab test,
$100 for the cat scan,
and $50 for the medicine."
