Oak

I noticed today that this oak tree in an alleyway cutting through to the supermarket had been cut down.  The lady coming towards me told me that it had, in fact, fallen down - the clean cut and sawdust were presumably a result of the clean-up operation afterwards.  There was quite a large hole in the stump which might have indicated that the tree was not in the best of health and possibly weakened.
