Independence Day Eve

Happy Independence Day Eve... I'm not sure it is a real thing, but it works for us.
We went to a concert at the baseball park with fireworks to follow after the music.  We thought there was going to be a baseball game, too, but we had misunderstood the event (a bit of wishful thinking, no doubt).  
Nevertheless, it was fun being outdoors all evening listening to the bands playing while eating delicious Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches and a decadent amount of ice cream.  
It's the first time in years we watched a professional fireworks display.  
LOL, we were a happy, tired seniors  couple when we got home!
