Hay Devil / Dust Devil

Driving home this morning, I noticed a large amount of hay from a nearby hay field was blown onto and hanging from a utilities pole.
I suspect a sizable dust devil is the likely culprit.
Once upon a time, I noticed a sizeable dust devil was tracking across an open field next to the road that I was riding my bicycle along.
I had the thought that it would be a fun adventure to deliberately ride my bicycle into this dust devil as it crossed the road.
With considerable effort, I managed to intercept the dust devil as hoped.
It turned out that this was not one of my best ideas! 
Had I seen a utility pole festooned with about a bale of hay, I would have been much better informed in my foolish thinking.
Suffice it to say, I was very nearly blown off of my bike.
When I reached my destination, everyone was certain I had been hit by a car and dragged quite a distance!
Dust devils are correctly named!
