Chuff Chart

Anyone who has done an overseas tour in the military will know what a 'Chuff Chart' is. A calendar, or something similar, where you can mark off the days to your return to the UK.
The one I had in Masirah, Oman, was a cut-away print of a VC-10 aircraft. I numbered the seats from 100 to number 1 being the captains (left hand) seat.
Marlane got these calendar sheets for the girls to keep a Chuff Chart of the countdown to when Mummy (Julia) comes home from her operational deployment on the 6 September.
They've started marking the days off with a cross in each day as it comes.
the Extra is 3 pigeons, 2 juvenile and an adult. The younger ones were being fed by the adult on top of next door's gazebo thing at the end of their garden. It was quite fascinating watching them.
