Echinops

Thanks so much for your understanding yesterday. Things are pretty similar today, but I do go out to have both my first Shingrix shot and the pneumonia shot - one in each arm.  It’s all very efficient, and knowing that I’m due to start immunosuppressants - at some point soon, they’ve suggested I have the second Shingrix in eight weeks rather than six months.

‘Any side effects?’ I ask, remembering how bad I felt after the last covid booster. Only sore arms, I’m told. Later I’m feeling rather delicate and head to bed earlier than usual. We’ll see how things develop!

So it’s another garden flower shot today - another relatively new plant only in its second year.   This time it’s Echinops or Globe Thistle, still very green but with its blueness peaking through. It’s another one to watch.
