Lathyrus Odoratus

Apple press

Last night the largest and oldest of our apple trees came crashing down. It was the main feature of the back garden, providing the central structure around which the rest of this area was designed. In the spring it had wonderful blossom and was a favourite spot for treecreepers and siskins. Laden with unripe apples it is now a sad sight and I will have to set about removing it.
