Smiling with the Sunflowers

There is something about a sunflower that brings cheerfulness and happiness to another gloomy day. M&S have tubs of them at every check out, but these beauties in my blip are growing in boxes outside Puffin, the local eaterie and winery where one can puff on a very expensive cigar should that be your wont.

While I am having a rather flat inactive day it is lovely to watch  youngsters running round Wimbledon or pedalling up mountains in France. It makes me feel as though I’m having a sedentary work out which is probably the way to go after a diagnosis at the physio this afternoon of damage to the meniscus in my knee.  I’m beginning to feel a bit like Andy Murray, bits of my body keep letting me down.
