2024 Tuesday — Lifting the Wall

The last exterior framed wall on the second floor was being lifted into position in this photo. Yesterday I watched as they lifted the first framed wall into place on the second floor. The progress on this house is day-by-day. Once the old house was demolished and the ground grading began, the work has been consistent. Every evening I send photos and videos to Paul & Saralyn the owners of the property. It is entertaining to watch.

Our little pup Mitzi had surgery yesterday; it’s difficult to watch her coming through the recovery. She’s 15 years old and I’m sure that adds to her discomfort and slow recovery.
