Different Day, Different Sky, Same Bridge

Oh my. last night, as we were leaving to go to prayers (which turned out to be next Monday), I could not find ny purse. Hubby thought he remembered bringing it in from the truck so we decided to look more when we got home. Jamie called about 10-15 minutes into our drive to say he’d been mistaken about the date for our friend’s prayers. We grabbed a Panera salad, filled the car’s tank with gasoline and went home. We searched the camper, truck and house again but could not find my purse. I knew I had it at lunch because I paid with my debit card. That was our last stop yesterday. The restaurant closed at 2:30, hours ago. I had hubby’s second set of keys in my purse. We checked the Tile app and it showed the last location of the keys was at the restaurant. Hubby and I checked all our accounts, no unusual purchases had been made. Fast forward. Hubby was at the lab to get his blood drawn when it opened this morning. He was back home very quickly. I was emptying the dishwasher. We had a bite of breakfast and headed back to the Eastern shore. I called the restaurant when it opened at 8:00. They assured me my purse was “safe”. It was a 92 mile one way trip! Thankfully, traffic was not bad for a work day. Folks must be vacationing this holiday week. The young lady recognized me immediately. I bought a homemade cranberry orange muffin and told her to keep the change for protecting my purse. She smiled from ear to ear. So did I. I thought another photo while crossing the Bay bridge on the way home was fitting. We were back in Hollywood by 12:30 pm. Hubby mowed the lawn, I weeded flower beds and we ate a late lunch. To show my appreciation, I am making him a nice dinner while he naps. I had one as well since we were awake before 5:00 this morning. No plans for the evening, thankfully. Hope your day was quiet. Thanks for visiting. Stay safe. "When in doubt, I find retracing my steps to be a wise place to begin." - Harry Potter
