A Bridge in the Clouds

We didn’t really rush and get stressed this morning. The more we camp, the easier it is to pack out. We each have our tasks plus those that require both of us. We got on the road at 10. Along the way, we found a quaint old town and a cafe that serves delicious lunches. With the camper, we had to find parking and walk several city blocks to get to it. Otherwise, we had pretty smooth sailing. The weather was perfect and the bright blue sky was full of fluffy white clouds. Even the traffic on the Bay Bridge (above) was reasonable. We’ve been in bumper to bumper traffic for miles along with all the folks heading home from Ocean City. It’s always a relief when we reach the Western shore of Maryland. Home is not too far away. We got home safely, have emptied the camper, put everything away and sat to write my journal. Then I have to shower and get to Ridge by 6:30 pm for the Rosary and prayers for a long time friend. His wife (deceased) grew up on the farm adjacent to my maternal grandparents. Their son and Jamie have been close friends since elementary school. And his son played basketball with Mancil. We have at least a five generation relationship. It will feel good to get back and just rest for a few hours. I hope you find time to rest today. Stay safe. Thanks for your visit. “Golden bridge, silver bridge or diamond bridge; it doesn't matter! As long as the bridge takes you across the other side, it is a good bridge!” - Mehmet Murat Ildan
