Late night EB. Achimenes Purple King blooming it's socks off.
A gentle day at Ruth's with two good appointments at her place. First an OT visit to check the suitability of a specialist bath, brought along by the company that supplies them. Accessing the van required borrowing a bit of space in Wickes car park just down the road but the outcome was positive - at this stage at least. Now it has to go for consideration of the Disabled Facilities Grant team. The need to enlarge the bathroom might be a stumbling block but this is an important hurdle cleared. Then a visit from the project manager and the kitchen fitter who will be in charge of the work to adapt Ruth's kitchen and widen a couple of doorways. Again, useful and uncontroversial. Another step closer.
We enjoyed a simple but tasty home cooked Indian meal for lunch before settling down to an afternoon of tennis and Tour de France :-) I set off home at 630 as the evening rush cleared and had a speedy and uncomplicated drive back home.
Work tomorrow - no peace for the wicked!
