Birthday

Today is my birthday, my 75th, three quarters of a century, not an age I expected, or was expected, to reach.

I've had a good day.  Lots of cards and some nice presents.

After lunch we went to the newly reopened Commandery Cafe for coffee by the canal.  From there we drove over to Emma's where we were greeted by Woody, a young, bouncy dog Emma and Andy are looking after for the day.

Raffy came back from nursery and we had tea.  This was followed by a birthday cake with four candles, I'm not sure why four but I guess 75 would be a bit excessive!
