Homeward bound

We had a relaxed start to the day as we had scheduled a Shuttle for 11.18 am. We even had time to stop , and I walked up to the look out point at Cap Blanc Nez, near Calais, North French Coast to look at the views and breathe the sea air. I do love this bit of coast.
As I was walking up having left LooseCanon sitting in the camper (because the parking was height restricted, doh!) an unmarked police car drew up and four Gendarmes jumped out bristling with weapons and also walked up to the look out point.
They said Bonjour but didn’t seem to see me as a potential people smuggler so that was ok!
The main photo is looking down the coast away from Calais.
The extra is looking across the channel towards the  English coast.
I did think that if I had struggled to that point from Afghanistan or the middle of Africa that enticing view of the White Cliffs would seem very attractive and the bit of blue water in between probably wouldn’t put me off too much , so I reckon they’ll never stop the boats.
